Importance of visual design
And experience design
This is what a tell my clients and bosses when I do work for them, that they have to trust more in the experience design and the visual power that a designer can give to a product or business.
This is a stupid but simple example of what a design can do and how it can change an experience with purpose. This carpet its made to prevent people to run on the hallways. Now that is changing the experience totally. If I want, I can put the flat parts in places of interest so people can stop/view what's there so the can stop and watch.
A colour of a button its the closest and simplest design example of this carpet.
